Tonight the Crestview Neighborhood Association board of directors met and it has been recommended that we send out a summary after our meetings so residents can know of upcoming projects and discussions so they can get involved.

> We are happy to announce that Carrie Miner was unanimously approved to join the Crestview board tonight.  Carrie will replace Sherry Brennan who will continue to work tirelessly on behalf of Crestview as co-chair (with Ann Hammond) of the block captains. 
> 
> Baila gave her report on Neighborhood Watch and discussed the upcoming walk on June 14th.  We will post the flyer on our website and let you know the details.  We discussed a community Neighborhood Watch meeting in the fall.  Baila will choose some dates and report back at the next meeting.
> 
> Julie gave the treasurer's report indicating that we currently have $17,759 available in all Crestview accounts (including $XXXX set aside for car patrol). 
> 
> The board approved a request from Ramsey to set aside $500 to remove 4 dead trees throughout Crestview.
> 
> Newsletter topics and deadlines were discussed.  Several Crestview residents have volunteered to write articles for the upcoming newsletter so look for more new additions to July's newsletter. 
> 
> If you have recommendations for upcoming newsletter articles or website ideas or would like to volunteer for anything in Crestview, please feel free to contact any of us on the board.  Our website lists all of our e-mail addresses if you'd like to contact a board member directly.
